‘State of the Art’ Astec Double Barrel Mixing Drum ::
A unique drum allowing us to mix oil and
aggregate outside the combustion chamber, which
cuts down on pollution. It is environmentally friendly,
and provides a superior mix because a more even
temperature is maintained.
‘State of the Art’ Lime System ::
Our pulse air
baghouse prevents lime dust from escaping into the
atmosphere while unloading trucks. The unique
centriflow lime meter controls lime flow into the mix,
by weight. This process is computer monitored and
controlled which produces highly accurate mixes.
Cold Mix for Winter Patching ::
A permanent patch
used during tough, winter weather that needs to be
applied only once, saving state and local agencies a
great deal of time and money.
Asphalt Recycling ::
This type of recycling is our environmental obligation
and a responsibility which we take seriously. Everist always ensures
proper recycling methods are used.
Multiple Cold Feed Bins ::
This increases productivity
and customer service. Having 7 bins allows us to
have different types of aggregate available for
different mixes for different end products. This way,
there is no down time for bin-switching.
Three 150 Ton Heated Storage Silos ::
Being able
to store 3 different mix designs cuts down
tremendously on turnaround time for our drivers, and
therefore wait time for our customers.
On Demand Products ::
All of our asphalt products
are top quality, and always available on demand at
competitive prices.

Environmental Commitment ::
Everist Materials is a
participant in Compass Project in conjunction with the
CO Dept of Health and CAPA (CO Asphalt
Producers Assn), to establish environmental guide
lines. Everist is also proud to participate in the
COMET Project, which is currently developing an
environmental management system.
Superpave Mix Designs ::
An Everist specialty!
EPA Method 9 Emissions Certified ::
Every six months
our Asphalt Supervisor is re-certified by the EPA.
This is an important credential, and his certification
enables him to detect and ensure that emissions are
within acceptable standards.
CDOT Approved Mix Designs ::

SMA Mix Design ::
In preparation for a SMA (stone matrix asphalt) project in the Eisenhower Tunnel, we purchased and installed this new silo for the introduction of a mineral filler to meet the job specifications. This is one of the first SMA projects in the mountains and we are proud to be part of it. This is another example of Everist Materials being in the forefront of new technologies in our industries.

New 75 Ton Silo ::
This easily allows added mineral filler into a SMA Mix Design. This new feature was installed in the Spring of '06.
